Jessica D. Wall, A.M., L.C.S.W. Office
Locations: Oak Park As the coordinator of Chicago Psychotherapy Partners, I take pride that our group provides a diverse range of services by five competent, engaging, and informed clinicians. I received a B.A. from Simmons College in 1987, an all women's institution in Boston Mass., where my interest in women's issues and development was fostered. In 1993, I graduated from the University of Chicago, the School of Social Service Administration with a masters in clinical Social Work. Currently, I am a candidate in psychoanalysis at the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis. My particular expertise and interest is the outgrowth of my education and training from varied services such as inpatient psychiatric work, aggressive outreach programs, to community mental health services and private practice. I believe the purpose of treatment is to provide a safe environment in which people are encouraged to reflect and discover who they are within an honest and collaborative working relationship between the client and therapist. This knowledge allows the client to consider other adaptations and development to occur through self understanding and the foundation of the therapeutic relationship. |
